Chris Moorman becomes one of Doyle Brunson’s chosen few

Doyle Brunson hasn’t confined himself to just playing poker on his latest visit to the UK. He’s been doing a bit of shopping for his Brunson 10 pro team, signing up and coming UK pro Chris Moorman.

The Brunson 10 is a team of ten players under the age of 25, personally selected by Doyle himself, who will be representing the Doyle’s Room poker site. Moorman is the fourth player to sign up, joining Amit Makhija, Zachary Clark and Alec Torelli.

Commenting on the deal Brunson said “Moorman reminds me a lot of me, except for the British accent. He’s a poker natural, a legend in the making, and that’s why I’ve handpicked him to be the next member of The Brunson 10.”

The 24-year-old from Brighton has career winnings of $1.8m online. The poker genes obviously run in the family, as father Simon won the GUKPT Main Event in Manchester earlier this year.
