Chris Moorman Triumphs Again

Chris Moorman, online poker’s leading all-time money earner, put further distance between himself and the chasing pack over the weekend after victory in the 888poker Sunday Challenge took him to over $13 million in career winnings.

Playing under the online pseudonym ‘WhatWudJSay’, the Essex native topped a field of 777 runners on Sunday to win the $90 buy-in 888poker-sponsored event and pocket $18,809 of the $102,504 prize pool.

Those that have followed Moorman’s career will recall that 2013 saw the Englishman become the earliest poker player to rack up $10 million in online earnings and he has since added just over $3 million to this total while also collecting his first major live title courtesy of a win at the LA Poker Classic from the World Poker Tour (WPT).

Throughout his stellar online career, Moorman, who holds an economics degree from the University Of Essex, has also been ranked by PocketFives.com as the world’s top player a staggering 22 times, won the site’s annual leaderboard competition in 2008 and 2009 and racked up 25 ‘triple crowns’.
