Channel 4 to televise UK and Ireland Poker Tour

Channel 4 to televise UK and Ireland Poker Tour

Tuesday, 1 February 2011

There are yet more reasons to set the Sky Plus box with the news that highlights of the PokerStars UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) will be shown on Channel 4.

The opening show will air at midnight on Tuesday 1 March and feature coverage from the UKIPT event in Galway. Our own Nick Wealthall will be doing the honours in the commentary box with EPT winner Liv Boeree adding the expert summary (what would Andy Gray have to say about that? Ask Liv whether she knows a flush beats a straight?).

The new series will also feature the action from this month's UKIPT event in Nottingham as well as future stops in Manchester, Cork, Edinburgh and Dublin.

Qualifiers for the UKIPT Nottingham Main Event are up and running at PokerStars.
