Celebrities to Go All In for UK Poker Open

Unconfirmed reports suggest that amongst the high profile professional players and on-line qualifiers at this year’s 888.com sponsored UK Poker Open Event will be a whole host of well-known celebrity players.

Pokernews.com reports that Matt Dawson, Teddy Sheringham and Danny Dyer will be joined by 2006 World Snooker Champion Graeme Dott, television legend Mike Reid and Eastenders star Billy Murray.
Going into its third year, the 888.com UK Poker Open will have a 108 player strong field and will take place on September 25 at Maidstone Television Studios. Comprising the field are 65 poker pros, 35 internet qualifiers and eight celebrities, all playing for their share of a $500,000 prize pool.
