Following in the wake of the elementary school shooting in Newtown, US, another gunman has taken the live of an innocent victim, this time in Las Vegas.
Late on Friday night a man entered the Excalibur Casino and shot a woman working on the desk of booking agents, Vegas.com. Many of the establishment’s poker room regular witnessed the event and early reports have suggested that the man and women were once in a relationship. Investigators are currently working hard to piece together the puzzle and understand exactly why the shooting took place. Moreover, security at the Excalibur Casino - and the Las Vegas strip in general - is being stepped up as many residents and tourists have felt a sense of unease following recent events. Thankfully there are no major tournaments taking place in Las Vegas now until after Christmas, by which time it’s hoped that much of the case will have been solved and the Vegas scene returned to normal.
