Cash is king for Brunson

Cash is king for Brunson

It seems that the casinos of Macau aren't the only places offering ridiculous high stakes cash action at the moment if Tweets from Doyle Brunson are to be believed.

Brunson has taken a rain check on the big WPT and EPT tournaments in Prague and the forthcoming Epic Poker event in favour of what sounds like some very juicy cash action in Florida. The ten-time WSOP bracelet winner Tweeted, “I have an opportunity to play in a very high stakes poker game this week end is why I’m not playing in the EPT. Any pro would understand:-)” followed by “The poker game I played in this week end had 100K chips. Don't see that very often and they were going in many pots.”

Brunson's latest Tweet suggests that he's been enjoying himself in Florida (and we don't think he's been to Disney World). When asked how he'd fared, the 78-year-old replied, “It was a good day.:-)”.
