Poker players from south Wales should have plenty to cheer about later this month with the arrival of new poker room Les Croupiers.
The new poker room, which opens on 22nd March, will be part of the new Les Croupiers Casino complex at the Capital Retail Park opposite Cardiff City Football Club. The specialist card room will feature 30 plus poker tables in a private room, dealer dealt cash games and tournaments in a variety of formats including Hold'em, Omaha Hi and Hi/Lo (4 & 6 card), Irish, 5 & 7 card stud. To get things off in style the venue will be hosting a £50 freezeout with a guaranteed £2,500 prize pool starting at 7.30pm on 22nd March. Les Croupiers has also announced its weekly tournament schedule, the highlight of which is the £40 Deep and Steep event every Sunday. The full line up is as follows:Mon 8PM - £30 Freeze-Out Tue 8PM - £10 Re-Buy Wed 8PM - £40 + £5 Bounty Freeze-Out Thurs 8PM - £25 Freeze-Out Fri 8PM - £15 Freeze-Out Sat 7PM - £30+£20 (opt add-on)+£10 (opt add-on) Sun 7PM - £40 Deep and Steep The venue has also revealed that it will be hosting monthly £100 and quarterly £250 deep stack freezeout events with dates to be confirmed on the near future.
