StoxPoker.com has confirmed that it is to merge with fellow instructional service CardRunners.com with both to offer special promotions until the end of the month to celebrate the move.

Stoxpoker.com will be maintained as separate entity and that, for a limited time, it had dropped its $99 activation fee for new members. They will also offer a 33 percent discount for twelve-month memberships. Those members that paid their activation fee within the last 30 days will receive an additional three-month membership at no extra cost.

StoxPoker.com stated that it would continue emphasising small and mid-stakes games instruction through classroom-style learning, its StoxPoker.com University and personal coaching. CardRunners will continue with a focus on advanced poker players, with the likes of Brian Townsend, Cole South, Brian Hastings and Taylor Caby helping out along the way.

“StoxPoker.com coaches and customers now have more resources behind them than ever before,” said Nick Grudzien, founder of StoxPoker.com.

“Our merger with Cardrunners.com will deliver more value to our customers and allow our coaches to spend even more time on what they do best, produce well communicated training content for small and mid-stakes players in almost all games.”

Rounding off the promotional offers, CardRunners.com is offering a free 24-hour trial until the end of the month for every player that texts ‘CardRunners’ to 32075 using a mobile telephone while it is also offering ten instructional videos over the coming weeks to premium members of Stoxpoker.com.

'We're delighted to add breadth and depth to our poker training resources while delivering a decisive competitive advantage to more than 14,000 members,' said Taylor Caby, co-founder of Cardrunners.
