CardRunners and Haseeb Qureshi no longer together

Tuesday, 9 August 2011

CardRunners announced yesterday that one of their long-time residents and most popular coaches would no longer be producing videos for the site as Haseeb Qureshi, aka "INTERNETPOKERS", is no longer an instructor.

“While Haseeb is a talented instructor, he has shown poor judgement in using a stake’s account for his own play. This decision is final,” CardRunners wrote in a press release.

The incident being referred to involved recently self-confessed cheat Jose “girah” Macedo, aka the Portuguese Poker Prodigy. During the Lock Poker $100k challenge, Qureshi played several hands of $25/$50 PLO on Macedo’s Lock Poker account, causing him to be disqualified from the challenge.

This is way before the story we reported yesterday where Macedo admitted multi-accounting and superusing to scam high stakes players from his strategy group out of more than $30,000.
