Canadian Police recover half of Duhamel's stolen cash

Thursday, 2 February 2012

Police in Quebec have confirmed that they have recovered around half of the cash stolen during the robbery at Jonathan Duhamel's home in December.

According to CTV News, police received an anonymous tip saying that the cash was hidden in a mailbox in Old Longueuil, around 80 miles from Montreal. Officers discovered around $115,000 in the denominations and currency that had been taken from the 2010 World Champion's house.

Four people, including Duhamel's ex-girlfriend have been charged in connection with the home invasion and face trial, probably in May.
