With 49 players remaining of the 413 entrants at the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic, defending champion Antonio Esfandiari is not only still alive but third in chips and well poised to make consecutive final tables.

Each of the remaining 49 players is guaranteed $15,922 with those who reach the final table guaranteed at least $119,418. The winner is set to take home $821,612 as well as a WPT bracelet and a $25,000 seat to the WPT Championship.


Kyle Julius is the man to beat with 1.46m in chips while former November Niner Soi Nguyen is in second place with 1.38m. Also chasing Julius are Scott Clements, Andrew Lichtenberger, Matt Glantz, Vanessa Selbst and Jonathan Little.
