Sky TV’s new innovation looks set to impress the poker playing community in the UK.
The network has launched a dedicated poker offering with an innovative interactive format that the company hopes will get enthusiasts playing their favourite game via the small screen without the need for any additional hardware other than their set-top box.
Broadcast from Sky Poker's Feltham studios, the programs are to feature a number of experts, such as such as Ed Giddins, Tony Kendall, and Trevor Harris. Additionally, presenters like Helen Chamberlain and Sean Boyce will be joined by poker playing guests and of course those joining in from home.
Company spokemen were quick to highlight that stringent age checks would be put in place to prevent underage gamblers from signing up and added that the service will only be available in the UK.
