Brighton's Rendezvous Casino was the venue for the six event Summer Breeze Festival last week which saw 270 players compete for a total prize pool of over £56,000.

Martin Holmes took the honours in the biggest buy-in event of the week, the £500 NLHE, outrunning a field of 27 players to take the first prize of £4,500. Bruce Atkinson was second for £3,110 with Richard Pain third for £2,560, Will Kassouf fourth for £2,390 and Hoss Parhizkar rounding out the cashes in fifth for £940.


The biggest field of the week gathered for the £100 NLHE event with Kevin Curtis beating 76 other players to the £2,000 first prize. Callum Smith took the £150 NLHE freezeout for £5,420 with Robert Prior taking the £200 NLHE event for £2,290.


Darren Baxter took the £150 PLO event, outlasting a field of 34 to take £1,285 and J McBride is £1,110 better off after winning the £150 NLHE Headhunter event.
