Brains versus brawn – MMA fighters on Poker After Dark

Do you ever feel that Poker After Dark are running out of weekly themes for their winner-take-all six-seater tournaments? It’s just that this one seems a little random, with Bruce Buffer being the only tie in between MMA and Poker.
UFC legends and mixed martial arts champions will be joining poker professionals on Poker After Dark this week as fighters Dan Henderson and Randy Couture join the ‘Voice of the Octagon’ and recent poker tournament winner Bruce Buffer.
Patrik Antonius, Howard Lederer and Erick Lindgren join the three around the felt for the winner-take-all $120,000 tournament. The action is available on the
NBC website for free – well, free besides tolerating some God-awful US advertisements.
We have to ponder, though – who would win in a six-man brawl? Lederer has some bulk but probably lacks technique while we imagine Antonius would kick ass and Lindgren would fight with his nails.
