If you can’t make it to Vegas for the 2009 World Series but still fancy some action then Boyle Sports is offering a number of betting opportunities. Their main market is for who will win the most cash in the World Series as a whole.

Phil Ivey is the favourite at 8/1 followed by Daniel Negreanu at 14/1, Allen Cunningham, Scotty Nguyen, John Juanda and Kenny Tran at 16/1 with Phil Hellmuth and Chris Ferguson available at 20/1 and 22/1 respectively. The shortest priced Brit is Neil Channing at 25/1 with Dave Ulliott at 33/1. Marty Smith heads the Irish challenge at 33/1.

Boyle Sports is also offering a market on the most cash won by a Scandinavian player with Gus Hansen and Patrik Antonius heading the betting at 12/1. Last year’s Main Event Champion Peter Eastgate is available at 16/1. There are also a number of group betting markets with more books expected as the WSOP gets closer.

Paul Spillane, head of poker at Boylepoker.com said, "Betting on the World Series of Poker has gone from strength to strength in recent years as it gives ordinary punters a chance to have an interest in the outcome of the Series and use their poker knowledge to try and beat the bookie. We've given players a wide variety of markets to choose from and everyone will be able to find a market where they will have an opinion on the outcome."
