The polls say that today's US presidential election is a coin flip but Barack Obama is the favourite according to most bookmakers.
President Barack Obama is on offer at odds of 1.20 (1/5 in old money) with bookmaker PaF.com, with Republican challenger Mitt Romney available at 4.1 (just over 3/1). “On Paf.com Obama has been the favourite ever since the election campaign began, even during the period when voting polls indicated that Romney had the upper hand,” says Paf PR manager Anders Sims. “Betting products that are not sport-related usually attract relatively little money, but the US Presidential Election is one of the exceptions. Since the interest is so high, so we are expanding our service,” says Anders Sims. PaF is also offering odds on the over under on the electoral college as well as on specific swing states. All the markets are available at PaF.com. Keep up to date with all the news from the poker world by following us on Twitter and Facebook.
