Online poker site Bodog.com has announced that one lucky player walked away with $25,000 after winning its Sunday $100,000 Guaranteed tournament.
Over 900 guests participated in the tournament with online poker player ‘gusive’ taking home the title. ‘Jdubya71’, who took home $14,000 for second spot and ‘A_theKevlar_2’ who finished third and was awarded $9,000, followed him.
Bodog said that ‘gusive’ is a regular player with three top-five finishes and five top-20 finishes over the past several months.
The Antigua-based website said that players who win its online tournaments can convert their winnings into an entry into some of the world’s most prestigious poker tournaments through its Player’s Choice Package. Winners may receive packages of $12,00, which gives them a buy-in chest of $10,000 with the rest to be used as spending cash. They may even get to participate in the World Series Of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, where the current Bodog.com team has been doing well.
