Team Party Poker has added a new name to its ranks in the form of German online ace Bobo Sbrzesny. The 29-year-old’s best live showing was his performance on TV show The Poker Den where he put up an excellent showing against the likes of Roland de Wolfe and Barny Boatman.

Most of the German’s success has come online though where he is a regular in Party Poker’s high stakes games. Sbrzesny is also one of a growing number of players to have sharpened up his poker skills by playing video games, especially a game called Counter Strike.

“The tactics learned as a Counter Strike video gaming professional helped form the foundation for my poker skills”, he explained. “I learned how to focus my game and improve my skills. The mouse and keyboard handling skills are particularly good for multi-tabling.”

Sbrzesny joins a team of Party Poker Pros that include Remy Biechel of France, Felipe Ramos of Brazil and our own Ian Frazer.
