Bluff European Rankings Goes Right to the Wire

Thursday, 3 January 2013

The 2012 Bluff European Player of the Year Race went right down to the last big tournament of the season, with high-flyers Chris Brammer and Roberto Romanello both scoring big in the EPT Prague at the end of the year. Brammer was ahead in the rankings before the tournament, but did Romanello do enough to catch him in Prague? Readers will have to wait for the forthcoming issue of Bluff Europe to find out.

In the meantime, there’s the 2013 to look forward to, and a packed January schedule that kicks off with the WPT National, sponsored by PKR.com, from the 2 – 6 January.

Then there’s the behemoth of a poker festival, the EFOP 2013, from 8 - 28 January. With no fewer than six European Championships to play for, the EFOP festival comprises the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Omaha Championships as well as the prestigious €5k Diamond Championships, not to mention a €10k High Roller and the €1.5 WPT National Championships as well. You can qualify live at the ACF or, for French players, at ACFpoker.fr.

PokerStars' grassroots UKIPT returns to Edinburgh from 17 - 21 January and, with a sizable portion of the field made up of PokerStars online qualifiers, there are plenty of ways satellite your way in. The UKIPT Poker League lets you win packages by scoring points in a series of freerolls and low stakes daily tournaments.

Finally, Betfair Poker LIVE London hits Aspers Casino for a $100,000 guaranteed main event. As with all Betfair Poker LIVE events, “The Betfair Edge” will be in effect, offering various perks to players who qualify for the event through Betfair Poker.
