Leading European poker publication Bluff Europe has announced an exclusive distribution deal with the Nuts Poker League.
The year-long deal will start immediately and see at least 2,000 free copies of Bluff Europe distributed to poker enthusiasts participating in Nuts league games around the UK.
The Wales-based league currently has 4,000 members playing games in 270 pub venues where players do not risk any money but win points that go towards a final league table and a spot in its final competition. The summer 2007 National Final will be held at the Circus Casino in Stoke-on-Trent with prizes including a £1,000 seat in the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour event in Luton.
“We’re delighted to have struck a deal with the NUTS Poker League,” said Michael Caselli, Editor-in-Chief for Bluff Europe. “We’re committed to grass roots poker in the UK and we see great things ahead for pub poker leagues such as Nuts.”
Bluff Europe is Europe’s most widely read poker publication and is distributed through European card rooms and poker clubs as well as on newsstands in the UK, Germany and Scandinavia. Regular contributors include Phil Laak, Roy Brindley, Hollywood actress turned poker professional Jennifer Tilly and other poker professionals from the UK, Europe and America.
“We listen to our players and they wanted access to a top-quality poker magazine and so we gave it to them,” said Steve Bellis from Nuts.
“Simply put, Bluff Europe is the top magazine for the job and we’re the top league for the job.”
