Bluff has confirmed that it has completed the acquisition of thepokerdb.com, a comprehensive source for tracking online tournaments and players.
Eddy Kleid, co-president of Bluff Media, said that the move would feed poker players’ desire for more data on fellow opponents and tourneys. 'We are pleased to be able to continue our growth in the poker information business,” said Kleid. “The acquisition of thepokerdb.com strengthens our product offering for online poker players and their increasing need for more information.'
'We have been searching for the right poker industry partner,' said Nat Arem, founder of thepokerdb.com. 'By joining The Bluff Media Family, thepokerdb.com will have access to and support of resources from an industry leader.”
“Further,” contined Arem, “we'll be able to leverage data and information to develop new Bluff Media products in the areas of tournament rankings and online player ratings.'
