This Sunday's SuperStar Showdown between Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom and Isaac Haxton is sure to delight the railbirds and anyone fancying a flutter on the action can do so at Matchbook.com.
The betting exchange makes Haxton the favourite at 1.752 with Blom currently available at 2.27. There's plenty of liquidity in both markets.A Matchbook spokesman said, “Any time you have two of the best players in the world battling it out in a structured format, there will be loads of interest in betting on the match. Given Isildur’s form it seems crazy for him to be the underdog in this match. But money talks, and if anyone feels differently they will surely be accommodated." Haxton won the first match against Isildur1 in 2010, inflicting Blom's only SuperStar Showdown defeat in ten matches to date. The match takes place at PokerStars on Sunday, March 11 at 5pm with the pair squaring off over four tables of 100-200 No Limit Hold’em until they have played 2500 hands or one player has reached the agreed stop loss.
