Blom's big win

Blom's big win

Monday, 8 October 2012

Rumours of the demise of Viktor Blom's bankroll appear to have been greatly exaggerated. Isildur1 booked himself a $500,000 plus online profit over the weekend after a marathon session at the PLO tables.

The latest spin up was classic Blom, who turned an initial buy-in of “just” $40,000 into $900,000 at the PLO tables. This being Isildur1 though, it wasn't all plain sailing. A move up in stakes up to $200/$400 ended badly, as did a quick run at the 2-7 triple draw tables, with the $900,000 profit dipping to $511,800. Still not bad for a day's work.

Another big winner over the weekend was RaiseOnce (Phil Ivey?) who booked a $255,700 win during a 10-hour session at a single FLO8 table.

Railbirds will no doubt be hoping that both continue gracing the PokerStars tables.
