Blom rises, Durrrr falls

Blom rises, Durrrr falls

Thursday, 7 March 2013

It seems that Viktor “Isildur1” Blom’s fortunes and those of Tom “durrrr” Dwan are inexplicably linked as it seems when one triumphs the other falters.

Indeed, recent form has seen the latter silence his critics and return to the top of the virtual high stakes tree with a $2 million+ profit in February. In contrast, Blom’s month was a mixture of brief highs and extended lows.

However, with the dawning of a new month it’s Blom who has returned to winning ways with a $791,600 profit in the last 24 hours being the latest notch in his upswing. Taking money from the likes of Hac “trex313” Dang, Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies and Dwan, the Swede climbed to second in yesterday’s high stakes leaderboard.

Topping the charts yesterday with a mightily impressive $905,200 profit was Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene. The American grinder banked the bulk of his profits at the $250/$500 PLO tables and now has an annual profit of $2,100,000.

Dwan’s financial status has been somewhat less inspiring over the last 48 hours. Having grinded through 2,008 hands the American couldn’t find a way to win and now finds himself down by $1,084,395.

New players can join Blom and Dwan at the Full Tilt Poker tables with a 100% first deposit bonus of up to $600.
