Binger, Graham and Kopp in UB.com split

Binger, Graham and Kopp in UB.com split

Friday, 29 October 2010

Matt “mattg1983” Graham, Michael Binger and Billy “Patrolman35” Kopp have parted ways with UB.com and the CEREUS network and are no longer on the site’s list of sponsored pros. Graham, who with two WSOP bracelets was their biggest catch besides Phil Hellmuth, was working on “a month-to-month” basis and decided to take a break from poker at the end of his one-year contract.

Billy Kopp is famous for losing out on a huge pot in the last two tables of the WSOP Main Event after being flush-over-flushed by eventual second-place finisher, logger Darvin Moon. Kopp has over a million dollars in earnings but since he has not appeared to cash in a major tournament for a year, it was time to let him go.

Michael Binger has over $5,000,000 in tournament earnings from just the WSOP after making double final tables in 2006 – one of which being the record-breaking Main Event where he finished in third place to take down over $4.1m. UB still have a host of poker talent, though – Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke are the flagship pros ahead of Adam “Roothlus” Levy, Brandon Cantu, Eric Baldwin and Joe Sebok.
