Big changes for PokerStars Sunday Majors

Since Black Friday, the centre of the poker universe has shifted from America to Europe and that fact has been recognised by PokerStars which has changed the times of some of its biggest tournaments.

The Sunday tournament schedule has been completely re-jigged with more friendly starting times for players on this side of the Atlantic.


The new schedule and start times (all UK) are as follows:


Sunday Kick-Off 1pm $150k
Sunday Warm-Up 4pm $1 million
Sunday Rebuy 5pm $400k
Sunday Storm 6.30pm $400k
Sunday Million 7.30pm $2 million
Sunday 500 8.30pm $400k
Sunday Second Chance 9.30pm $250k
Sunday Supersonic 11.30pm $80k


To celebrate the new schedule, PokerStars has added $200k worth of entries to its daily satellite schedule as well as doubling the guarantees for the tournaments on 5th June.
