Betfair to host charity tournament in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust

Thursday, 28 October 2010

Online poker players will get to show their charitable side in a special tournament in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust at Betfair Poker on Monday 1st November.

Top pro John Tabatabai and England Rugby World Cup winner Will Greenwood will be hosting the $20+$10 MTT (with unlimited $7.50 and $2.50 rebuys for the first hour as well as one add on) with Betfair matching all the rake with a donation to the Trust.

As well as cash there are some great bonus prizes on offer including live and online tournament entries, tickets to the Manchester United v Everton Premier League match and a race meeting at Ascot. The player lucky enough to knock out John Tabatabai will gain three online coaching sessions from the WSOPE runner up with the person who despatches Will Greenwood to the rail getting a signed England rugby shirt and a copy of the outside centre's autobiography.

The Anthony Nolan Trust is a charity that finds matches for leukaemia patients who need a lifesaving transplant and this year they are the Betfair sponsored charity. The action gets under way at 7.30pm. To take part in the tournament and help a very worthy cause sign up for an account at Betfair Poker.
