Two lucky amateur players will be freerolling in the $777 Lucky Sevens Hold'em event at this year's World Series of Poker (WSOP) thanks to the largesse of pro Bernard Lee and The One Step Closer Foundation.

The seats were given away as part of the eighth birthday celebrations of radio show and podcast The Bernard Lee Poker Show.

"I am extremely excited to be able to make these players' dreams a reality," said Lee. "Nothing can compare with the experience of playing in a WSOP bracelet event. I know this is an adventure both players will always remember."

27-year-old account executive Brett Mueller and 38-year-old company exec Jay Phillips were the chosen two and were understandably excited about their trip to Sin City.

Lee became a spokesman for Blaycation, a company that helps people tick off their bucket list dreams, earlier this year.

There was initially just a single $777 seat on offer but following the success of the contest, The One Step Closer Foundation decided to add a second. The foundation helps people suffering with cerebral palsy. It's hosting a special celebrity tournament at the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas on 19 June.
