Benyamine and Full Tilt Poker to Part?
Friday, 14 November 2008

The rumour-mills are churning with the latest mutters surrounding the high-stakes cash player David Benyamine. According to various poker forums and Spanish news site poquer-red.com, Benyamine's contract with the online poker room may not be renewed.

If true, the move would come as a surprise to many. Benyamine is been playing some of the biggest games Full Tilt has to offer, although the French pro had a torrid October, dropping over $1.8m according to the tracked sessions at The High Stakes DB.

That said, Benyamine is an incredibly high profile player and would certainly be snapped up by some of the industry's big players should he part company with his Full Tilt counterparts. Both PokerStars and Betfair have been suggested as new homes to the former tennis pro, and with the French poker market beginning to open up, Benyamine's acquisition will be hotly contested.

Still, we'll have to see if there's any strength to the rumours - we'll keep you posted.
