British players have enjoyed plenty of tournament success all around the world and the latest name that can be added to that number is Ben Dobson who notched up a major victory in France.

The Stockport-based player took down the France Poker Series event in Amneville earlier this week. 317 players entered the €1,000+€100 buy-in event, including Bertrand “ElkY “ Grospellier and Arnaud Mattern, but none could match Dobson who sealed the victory after a three-hour heads up session against online qualifier Guillaume Roiron. The Frenchman can be pleased his work though, turning a €30 satellite seat into €44,320.
