Ben Dobson wins France Poker Series Amneville

British players have enjoyed plenty of tournament success all around the world and the latest name that can be added to that number is Ben Dobson who notched up a major victory in France.

The Stockport-based player took down the PokerStars.fr France Poker Series event in Amneville earlier this week. 317 players entered the €1,000+€100 buy-in event, including Bertrand “ElkY “ Grospellier and Arnaud Mattern, but none could match Dobson who sealed the victory after a three-hour heads up session against online qualifier Guillaume Roiron. The Frenchman can be pleased his work though, turning a €30 satellite seat into €44,320.
