Phil Hellmuth has never had a problem with getting the limelight. Whether it is his late entrances, tirades at fellow players or his ability to ‘dodge bullets, baby’, the guy has always been one of the showpieces in any tournament he’s in.

Phil Hellmuth has never had a problem with getting the limelight. Whether it is his late entrances, tirades at fellow players or his ability to ‘dodge bullets, baby’, the guy has always been one of the showpieces in any tournament he’s in. On 1st December, the self confessed “Poker Brat” will turn nice guy, hosting the Beauty and the Bet Charity Poker Tournament, benefiting the families of law enforcement officers who have died in action.
The ‘beauty’ part of the event comes from the Playboy Playmates who will be at the event, including Sarah Elizabeth, Stephanie Heinrich, Alison Waite, and Stacy Fusion.
The event itself will consist of two No Limit Hold’em tournaments. The first kicks off at noon and has a $500 buy in, with unlimited $500 rebus. There will also be a $250 add-on at the end of the rebuy period. The ‘High Roller’ tournament starts at 5 p.m. and has a $2,500 buy-in with rebuys available until the first break. There will be one add on for $1,250.
Fifty percent of the buy-ins, rebuys and add-ons will go to the player prize pool, with the top three of each event playing a winner’s table. The six players will then celebrate with Hellmuth and the ladies in a VIP booth outside the Playboy Club, with one winning a grand prize of two Super Bowl XLII tickets as well as entry for two into Playboy’s Super Saturday Night Party.
Funds raised will go to the TASER Foundation, who provide financial and educational support to the families of federal officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
