Brian Hastings, the player formerly known as “LucLongley” on Full Tilt, is reported to be up over $1m dollars so far this month.
Hastings was recently signed by Full Tilt Poker, along with his other ‘Team Cardrunners’ companions, which means he is one of the infamous ‘red pros’ on the site. In case people were wondering if he practiced as he preached, Hasting’s debut month has seen him taking money left, right and centre.
Hastings netted $540k in March under his old alias, 'LucLongley before switching to his new 'Brian Hastings' account and winning a further $516,000.
Other players who have also had good months playing Pot Limit Omaha are David Benyamine, who has made a profit of around $700,000, as well as internet phenom “trex313”, who is up just short of half a million.
So, who is on the other end of the performance spectrum? Well, it appears our favourite Scandinavians have had a tough time of it lately, with “Ziigmund” and Gus Hansen both taking bankroll dents. Ziigmund has dropped in the region of $960,000 in March, while Gus is down $1.1 million in 2008.
