Online poker training and staking site Badbeat.com is sending five players to compete in the £430 buy-in main event at the Edinburgh leg of the Genting Poker Series.

Badbeat.com offers players funding and comprehensive support including cutting-edge software tools such as its free MyGame training and analysis system in addition to a structured development path featuring advanced learning aides and support from a pool of world-class mentors.

The five lucky players, Alan Davie, Graham Giles, Nigel Stentiford, Tony Cooper and Robert Lawson, all won their seat via a Badbeat.com monthly freeroll, by qualifying online at Poker Encore or as a reward for outstanding performance.

The third leg of the Genting Poker Tour began yesterday and is due to run until Sunday at the Fountain Park Genting Club in Edinburgh while the seven-series competition’s final is scheduled to take place at London’s Palm Beach Casino in December featuring a guaranteed £200,000 prize pool.

“Each month Badbeat.com, the original and leading online poker staking and training business, runs a freeroll awarding seats to the Genting Poker Series,” read a statement from Badbeat.com, “Badbeat.com sponsored players must meet certain criteria throughout the calendar month to qualify for the freeroll.”
