Badbeat.com backs Comic Relief

Badbeat.com backs Comic Relief

Thursday, 17 March 2011

A Comic Relief fundraising effort usually means sitting a bath of baked beans or other such tomfoolery. One poker company will be showing its charitable side tomorrow without resorting to any such zaniness.

Staking, bankroll and coaching site Badbeat.com will be donating a full 10% of all affiliate revenue generated by its players tomorrow with the proceeds going to Comic Relief.

“Red Nose Day is a day like no other; when the whole country gets together to help change countless lives,” said Badbeat Managing Director, John Conroy. “We’re incredibly happy to play our part, and do something funny for money!”

Badbeat.com players will also be able to benefit from the Red Nose Day extravaganza. Any Badbeat sponsored player who is holding two red aces will have a shot at winning a ticket to UKIPT Cork worth €550.
