So, I have come to the point in my life where I need to try and build my bankroll as quickly and efficiently as possible. This, obviously, involves primarily deciding which site to deposit on.

Initially I did want to go with a certain network, but I had forgotten how much their software tilts me. It’s so, so bad. It used to be pretty bad when I played my first $0.05/$0.10 games on there two years ago and it’s gotten worse. True, a large part of the tilt comes from my shite laptop but PokerStars and Full Tilt don’t freeze.


This particular network doesn’t have waiting lists, for crying out loud. That is by far the stupidest decision I have ever seen any poker site make in my short career. I was so confused and angered by this that I chose to e-mail them:


“This has been done to solve the problem of games waiting forever in the lobby to be filled, all you need to do now is click on the table you wish to join and choose your Seat, or you can use the Quick seat feature will take you straight to the table,” they replied.


What problem? Now all the tables are full, it’s impossible to get onto a new one before someone else and even if you do the software just explodes and showers your entire computer with poo by being so crap.


So, where to? PokerStars and Full Tilt seem obvious choices but I’m a cash game player; while they’re certainly the best for software and tournaments I’m only making my games a thousand times tougher than they need to be, when there are dozens of donks at Betfair and iPoker.


So, readers, help me decide – where’s good, where’s fishy, where’s full of bonuses? I’m actually considering AbsolutePoker – the software is excellent, most serious players avoid it on principle and it has 30% rakeback… you know, I might have just made my decision but weigh in with your shout on this thread.
