Almost 500 players have now competed in, or are still competing in, the 2010 Aussie Millions $10,500 Main Event, taking a shot for what will no doubt be a seven-figure first-place prize.
On Day 1b 243 players entered the Crown Casino in Melbourne. Now only 109 remain – some of the unfortunate 134 include Erik Seidel, Chris Ferguson and Shane Warne. However, Day 2 will be blessed with the presence of Annette Obrestad and Jeff Lisandro to name but two. Only a few players broke the six-figure chip counts on Day 1b, with Chad Wiedenhoeft leading the field; accumulating a gigantic 153,200 before returning for Day 2. Obrestad and Lisandro are far behind but well above-average with just over 70,000 apiece. Join us tomorrow for coverage of Day 1c of the Aussie Millions main event.
