Artuu Pitkakangas takes Betfair London title

The latest leg of the Betfair Poker Live! series took place at the Fox Poker Club in London over the weekend with an international field of 171 players buying into the £250 Main Event.

In the end it was Finland's Artuu PitkakangasArtuu Pitkakangas who took the honours, defeating Portugal's Hugo Cruz heads up to take the £7,630 first prize as well as a package to the next Betfair Live! event in Tallinn.

The final table positions and payouts were as follows:
1 Artuu Pitkakangas (Finland) — £7,630 and Tallinn Package
2 Hugo Cruz (Portuguese) — £5,900
3 Aarno Kivelio (Finland) — £3,900
4 Philip Chan (UK) — £3,100
5 Michael Malle (Denmark) — £2,400
6 Juho Launonen (Finland) — £2,000
7 Leigh Wiltshire (UK) — £1,600
8 Louis Manson (UK) — £1,200
9 Nicolay Hellene (Norway) — £1,000

Germany's Lex Lettl added to the continental flavour of the series by winning the £33 side event. He beat a 67 runner field to take home the £640 first prize plus a Betfair Live! package worth £1,000.

Betfair Live! Tallinn takes place at the Olympic Casino in the Estonian capital from 15 to 17 April 2011. Qualifiers are up and running at Betfair Poker.
