Friday, 30 December 2011

Police in Canada have arrested four people in connection with the assault and robbery of Jonathan Duhamel. The 2010 World Champion was attacked in his own home on 21 December with the assailants making off with money, a Rolex watch and the WSOP Main Event bracelet.

20-year-old Bianca Rojas-Latraverse has been charged with five offences including conspiracy. 22-year-old John Stephan Clark Lemay and 26-year-old Andre Robert Perron were later arrested and charged with breaking and entering, robbery, assault, and forcible confinement. A fourth person was arrested yesterday.

The missing Rolex watch has been found but the WSOP bracelet and cash are yet to be recovered.

Duhamel offered a $10,000 reward for information relating to the case. Police didn't reveal whether the reward has been claimed.
