Anton Wigg leads EPT Berlin after Day 2 as bubble bursts

Thursday, 19 April 2012

Day 2 saw the bubble burst at the PokerStars EPT Berlin with EPT London champion David Vamplew the unlucky bubble boy when his kings couldn’t hold up against queens. Play concluded shortly after, with 102 players returning for Day 3.

Leading the way is Anton Wigg, who built up a stack of over three times the average to finish the day with 695,000. Following close behind is Vladimir Geshkenbein, building on his Day 1a chip lead to bag up 675,500, which means we have two EPT champions on top.

Other survivors returning for Day 3 include Vanessa Selbst, Philipp Gruissem, Kevin MacPhee, Martin Jacobson and JP Kelly.
