Another crazy prop bet for Huck Seed

Another crazy prop bet for Huck Seed
Tuesday, 3 November 2009

Huck Seed has got himself involved in another unlikely prop bet. Speaking on The Show! with Gary Wise on ESPN, the 1996 WSOP Main Event champion revealed that he has been challenged to run a mile in a time of 4 minutes 39 seconds or better. Seed, who has until the end of the year to get in shape, was given odds of 33/1 if he is successful.

The bet has certainly got the forums buzzing, with the majority view being that the 40-year-old has little to no chance, despite his background as a college basketball star.

Seed is no stranger to crazy prop bets. He won a six-figure sum after successfully completing four rounds of golf in a single day, on a desert course in less than 100 shots, using only a five iron, a sand wedge and a putter. Seed was on course for another big score after being challenged not to shave for a year. The caveman look was going well until an unexpected death in his family meant he had to shave for the funeral.
