Another $1m score for Brian Rast

Brian Rast's career tournament earnings are inching toward the $6 million mark after he took down the $100,000 High Roller event at the WPT Five Diamond Classic.

The American topped a high class 22-runner field at the Bellagio to walk away with the third seven-figure score of his career. Amongst that number were the likes of Antonio Esfandiari, Justin Bonomo and Marvin Rettenmaier who all made the final table but fell short of cashing.

In fact only three players made the money with Roger Sippl the first player to hit the rail with something in his pocket. The millionaire businessman departed in third with $433,400 after being eliminated by Rast.

That left Erik Seidel to battle it out with Rast for the $1,083,500 but not even the Seiborg could prevent another High Roller triumph for the Californian. The $650,100 was plenty more than a consolation prize for Seidel though and takes his tournament winnings in excess of an amazing $19m.
