After six days of highly competitive action a winner has been confirmed at the Full Tilt Merit Classic in Cyprus.

A Jack on the flop sealed the deal leaving the young Frenchman to battle it out with Krause. The German had a two to one chip advantage going into heads up play but Clavet got lucky to take the lead. His tournament had looked over holding A5 against Krause's pocket 8s on a Q939 board but an ace on the river put him right back in contention. The reprieve was to be short lived though after a flopped straight gave Krause the initiative again.
