The former EPT Dortmund winner met dealer Vicki Ann at the Golden Nugget and just three days later they were man and wife, despite him having a long-term girlfriend.


Although he's a highly successful sponsored pro, Hoivold wasn’t overly confident about his chances. His move of tipping Vicki Ann with a $50 bill with his name and number on did the trick though. After a few days of wining and dining the pair joked about marriage and less than 24-hours later they had tied the knot.


The former Poker Million finalist said, “I am very excited about what the future holds! Both on and off the poker table!”.
