Ali Eslami wins WSOP Circuit Rincon $10,000 Championship

Tim West was riding high, having won the $300,000 first prize at the Wynn Classic less than a week before arriving at the final table of the World Series of Poker $10,000 Regional Championship as chip leader. However, Ali Eslami, fresh from a runner-up spot at the Big Event Bounty Shootout in LA, had other ideas.

After eliminating the other seven players it was West and Eslami who would battle heads-up. However, the poker Gods wanted this over quickly which was why they dealt West A-Q and Eslami A-A, ensuring all the money got in before the flop with West drawing practically dead.

Eslami thanked Chad Brown for helping him with his tournament game, which explains a lot – Brown fights off cancer and wins six-figure tournaments in the same week. It’s just how he rolls.

The full final table payouts were as follows:

1.Ali Eslami $282,242
2.Tim West $174,443
3.D. J. Blanchard $124,204
4.Steve Brecher $90,223
5.David Peters $68,834
6.Dana Kellstrom $50,445
7.Dwyte Pilgrim $38,808
8.Dylan Wilkerson $30,397
9.Miller Dao $24,235
