Absolute Poker and UB get eCOGRA certification

Absolute Poker and UB get eCOGRA certification

AbsolutePoker’s new software and wide selection of games gives it new credit in the poker community; UltimateBet’s rebranding as UB and some sort of progress made on sorting out “the Troubles” seems to have done the same thing.

Now the two sites on the CEREUS network have received further authority after being awarded eCOGRA certification. The independent certification group gave the CEREUS network, the poker world’s third largest, their resounding approval.

eCOGRA compliance manager Sean Roberts said, “The active measures taken, in light of events that impacted players, coupled with an impressive range of additional mitigating controls that have since been implemented, have contributed to the CEREUS online poker network’s software reaching the standards we require for software accreditation.”

Earlier this year, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission stated that Tokwiro Enterprises, the sites’ parent company, was not involved with the cheating in any way. Perhaps it’s time to cast off prejudices and take advantage of some nice rakeback deals?
