The Grosvenor G Casino in Luton is the next port of call for APAT's (Amateur Poker Association & Tour) event, the European Amateur Poker Championship.
The event will be held over the bank holiday weekend, August 25th to 27th, with an entry fee of £75.00. Players start with 10,000 chips and the winner will take home an expenses paid entry to the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Grand Final, worth up to $8,000, in addition to the European Amateur title and a substantial cash prize.
300 seats had been made available for the event to cope with increased demand. Seats were available through online qualifiers and direct buy-ins.
Details of the APAT World Amateur Poker Championship are due to be announced soon, where the winner will take a Blue Square sponsored expenses paid entry to the main event at the World Series of Poker.
