26 left at Aussie Millions – Ivey still there
Thursday, 26 January 2012
It was day of rapid fire action at the Crown Casino as the starting Aussie Millions Day 3 field of 75 was swiftly whittled down to just 26.
All eyes were once again on
Phil Ivey and he certainly didn't disappoint, not just surviving but closing the day in sixth place in the chip counts with 1,077,000.
Leading the way is
Matt Turk who has 2,675,000 chips, almost double that of second placed
Tim O'Shea on 1,376,000 and
Patrick Healy who is in third on 1,353,000. Also in the top 10 are brother of Pokercast Adam,
Daniel Idema on 1,033,000,
Minh Nguyen 992,000 and
Lee Nelson on 878,000.
All 26 survivors are guaranteed at least AUD$35,000 (around £23,690) with the top 12 finishers all guaranteed a six-figure score. The winner will take home a cool AUD$1.6m (£1.08m).
