The World Poker Tour has announced details of the second half of its season XII schedule with seven Main Tour stops and nine National Series events lined up for 2014.
The Borgata will feature prominently in the remainder of the season XII schedule with the opening and closing events taking place at the Atlantic City venue. Sandwiched in between are the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open in February and then a pair of televised events in California in March – the LA Poker Classic and the unique WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star. The Tour then returns to Florida for the WPT bestbet Open and the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown in April which will feature a $10m guarante. From Florida, the WPT heads back north to Borgata and the season-ending, $15,400 buy-in WPT World Championship sponsored by PartyPoker. The European action gets under way in Denmark in February with further events scheduled for London, Brussels, Newcastle and before a return visit to the capital. “We are very excited about the depth and breadth of our Season XII schedule,” said WPT President, Adam Pliska. “We’ve taken great care to ensure all of our players – whether they’re on the Main Tour or in our WPT Regional or WPT National events – enjoy world-class experiences at premier venues around the globe.” The full schedule is available at WPT.com.
