The main event of this season’s FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series) at Full Tilt came with a monster prize pool – a guaranteed $2,000,000. It actually ended up being even bigger, with 4,371 players entering, the top 585 getting paid.

The main event of this season’s FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series) at Full Tilt came with a monster prize pool – a guaranteed $2,000,000. It actually ended up being even bigger, with 4,371 players entering, the top 585 getting paid. First place would take home $385,937.45.
The Full Tilt pros were out in force for this one too, with 41 of the 70-odd players currently on the roster. Scott Clements and Aaron Bartley had barely finished Day 2 of Event #13 before the cards were in the air for this one. Out of the ‘red’ pros in the field, those who cashed were: Amanda 'Mandy B' Baker in 555th, Bartley in 346th (his second cash of the day) Adam Schoenfeld in 319th, David Chiu in 167th, Jonathan Little in 114th, Mark Vos in 76th, and Eddy Scharf in an admirable 22nd.
This meant that, unlike the last FTOPS main event, the winner would be an unknown player, as there were no big name players amongst the final nine. After the dust had settled, the eventual winner was ‘fkscreennames’, who pipped ‘southside1’ to the $385k first prize, with ‘southside1’ bagging over $233K.
