$250,000 Super High Roller returns to Aussie Millions

Thursday, 15 December 2011

Organizers of the forthcoming Aussie Millions tournament series in Melbourne have confirmed that the massive $250,000 Super High Roller event will be returning in January.

Despite the well documented problems in the poker economy there appears to be no shortage of takers willing to take a quarter million shot. Defending champion Erik Seidel returns as does runner up Sam Trickett. Other big names likely to take part include James Bord and Patrik Antonius and sports betting high roller Tony Bloom. Tom Dwan and Daniel Cates are also likely to be heading Down Under as well as some well funded Chinese businessmen.

Erik Seidel got his amazing 2011 off to a spectacular start by winning the 2011 Super High Roller. The Seiborg pocketed $2,472,555 after seeing off 19 other players at the Crown Casino.
